We looked ahead.
And this is what we saw.

A rare splash of colour in the city. The Kubrick brings something entirely new to Auckland apartment living. It's hydrangea-hued brickwork, beautifully layered interiors and extraordinary collection of shared spaces create a building that is bold, distinctive and full of character. The result is a building unlike anything else in Auckland.

The Kubrick’s air-conditioned 100m² gym is complemented by a 20m² outdoor space designed for stretching and cooling off, alongside a dedicated studio ideal for Pilates, yoga, or personal training sessions.

Private Bar
Slip into The Karova Bar – a design-led retreat made for late-night cocktails, quiet conversations and cheeky chardonnays with someone special.

In-house Cinema
Of course, no building named The Kubrick would be complete without its own private cinema. Welcome to The Stanley Theatre – an intimate movie lounge designed for everything from cult classics to family favourites. Pour a drink, grab the popcorn, dim the lights and settle in – tonight’s screening is entirely yours.

In-house Shared Office Space
Working from home will never feel the same again. The Kubrick’s shared workspace offers a beautifully considered 73m² environment designed for focus, collaboration and flexibility. It has dedicated desks, a bookable boardroom for private meetings, and a professional north-facing entrance off Pratt Street to welcome colleagues or clients.

For the Love of Bricks
The building is rendered in soft pink, powder blue and pale lavender brickwork – a palette inspired by the hydrangea, long a favourite in the gardens of Freemans Bay’s historic villas. The façade captures and reflects the shifting light of Auckland, changing subtly through the day.

Yes, you’re absolutely right.
It’s not for everyone.
